More than 130 collections of lanterns were lit up in China's Zigong City to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. Thousands of colorful Chinese lanterns made of steel materials and silk, bamboo, paper, glass bottle and porcelain tableware have been displayed. it is an intangible cultural heritage event.
Because the new year will be the year of pig. some lanterns are in the form of cartoon pigs. There's also a huge lantern in the shape of traditional musical instrument ''Bian Zhong''.
Zigong lanterns have been displayed in 60 countries and regions and have attracted more than 400 million visitors.
