During this year’s Chinese New Year, Nianhua Bay in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China, became a nationwide sensation, thanks to the stunning "Most Dazzling Fireworks" AI creative video, which received over 100,000 likes. Recently, Haitian Culture, collaborated with Nianhua Bay, leveraging its strong creative execution and intangible cultural heritage lantern crafts to bring this fantastical AI world to life, using 1,500 drones and exquisite fireworks to perfectly replicate the creative scenes from the AI video.
This display used the Nianhua Tower as a platform and lanterns as artistic tools, skillfully blending traditional intangible culture with modern technology, initiating a dialogue between oriental aesthetics and the world. As floral lanterns illuminated the scene, the tower bloomed with colorful lights and shadows. Subsequently, 1,500 drones, centered around the tower, inscribed words and patterns in the night sky. Striking images such as "picking a flower and pointing at the tower" and "blue lotus blossoming" emerged from the digital realm. Transitioning from "viewing" to "immersing in the scene", the fusion of virtual and real provided an immersive experience that left the audience in awe.
Maye Musk attended the lighting ceremony in person, joining Wuxi-born intangible cultural heritage inheritors to illuminated the Nianhua Tower. Witnessing the combination of traditional craftsmanship and high-tech innovation enhanced the artistic and visual impact of the entire structure.
